The Book of Bread
Chapter 1: The Beginning of Loaves
1:1 In the beginning, there was the Flour, and the Flour was with the Yeast, and the Flour became Bread.
1:2 And the Bread said, "Let there be kneading," and the dough was formed.
1:3 The Bread saw that it was good, and it rose, filling the earth with its aroma.
1:4 And the Bread called the first loaf Whole, and the second loaf Sliced.
1:5 Evening came, and morning followed—the first baking.
Chapter 2: The Great Oven
2:1 And it came to pass that the Bread was placed in the Oven, and the Oven was set to a high heat.
2:2 The fire did not consume it, for the Bread was meant to nourish the nations.
2:3 And the Bread said, “Let all who hunger come to me, for I shall be their sustenance.”
2:4 The crust became golden, and the crumbs tender. And the people rejoiced.
Chapter 3: The Breaking of Bread
3:1 And the Bread was broken among them, and each took their portion.
3:2 “Take and eat,” said the Bread, “for in me you find fulfillment and peace.”
3:3 They who shared in the loaf found satisfaction, and they knew the Bread was holy.
